Background
Put a brief overview of their story: Alyssa grew up till the age of eleven as a small time girl in Houston Texas surrounded by many relatives and close-knit family. She learned to sing and play the piano and the guitar from an early age, and started training her voice with the help of her single mother who used to be a gospel singer. At the age of six, her grandma (who used to be a professional dancer) signed her up for dance classes including ballet, jazz, tap, and ballroom dancing, insisting that she had the perfect figure to be a dancer like her. Unfortunately, Alyssa wasn't very good and dropped out at the age of ten. To complement that, her aunts and uncles encouraged her to start taking gymnastics and aerobics classes at the age of ten, which she seemed to be good at, and which helped expand her agility and flexibility. Alyssa was very shy in middle-school and followed a particular group of friends she'd known since elementary school. These friends persuaded her to try out cheerleading when she was twelve years old, since she was pretty good at aerobics and gymnastics. She didn't like cheerleading, and stopped when her mother remarried a film producer when she was twelve years old and the two of them (Alyssa being an only child) moved to Calabasas California to be closer to him. Alyssa became bolder around her two step-sisters; one of them was a budding athlete while the other was a budding actress. With their help, she came out of her shell in her new school. Alyssa then decided to join the school band because she missed playing the piano and guitar and singing, and there she met her best friend Cassie and her crush Ryan. At a band practise she was accosted by monsters and, luckily for her, there was a satyr at hand to get her to Camp Half-Blood, where she discovered her godly parent was Apollo and she tried out new skills she had never gotten to try before, such as Archery.
